For a 2022 full of nutritional challenges!

With the arrival of the new year 2022, many people propose new challenges and the most acclaimed is: start a healthy diet . After Christmas, many people decide to start healthy habits to improve their health. On these dates we tend to skip meals, we eat out or at other people’s houses, and we tend to eat, even if we are not hungry.

We end up bloated, with gas, belching, reflux, acidity, with a few extra kilos… and what’s more, we don’t feel like moving and we eat uncontrollably. Sometimes it’s not weight, it’s pure inflammation, fluid retention…

Next, we leave you some advice to return to a healthy routine and improve your eating habits.

  • Recover the feeling of hunger-satiety. Don’t eat without hunger. If you’ve had a large meal and at the next meal you’re not hungry, don’t eat, nothing’s wrong. And if you’re hungry, eat quality food.
  • Take infusions between hours. Especially ginger, also chamomile, linden, valerian, etc.
  • Eat protein and good fats (avocado, extra virgin olive oil, olives) at every meal, plus vegetables and fruits that will increase our satiety.
  • Do not eat flours, sugars or sweeteners.
  • Move on. Exercise whenever you can, otherwise try to walk at least 30 minutes a day at a brisk pace and stay active.
  • Don’t forget to rest. If you sleep badly or not enough, you will notice that you have more anxiety about sweets.
  • Expose yourself to sunlight. Try to be in touch with nature.
  • Dare to fast. You don’t need to do very long fasts. Start by fasting for at least 12 hours. It’s very easy, you just have to have dinner early (8:00-9:00 p.m.) and breakfast at least at 8:00-9:00 a.m.
