#1 Painless breast augmentation with the Preserve technique

This first case is surprising.

Young woman of 25 years. Slim. 170 cm. Comes for correction the size of her breasts, something that has conditioned her for long time. In the way she dresses, in her confidence… She has postponed the operation for fear of general anesthesia and pain.

He suffers from what is known as developmental hypoplasia. The mammary gland does not grow or grows very little during adolescence and breasts end up being small. The examination also reveals a slight asymmetry between both breasts.

It’s a common question that you might relate to.

Taking into account your needs, we proposed an augmentation with Preservé technique. Although this procedure couldn’t address her asymmetry, she was clear that she didn’t want to accept additional scarring to resolve something she didn’t consider a priority.

The biggest advantage of Preserved is that it’s minimally invasive.It preserves breast tissue and only requires local anesthesia and sedation. Compared to traditional surgery, this means less discomfort, fewer risks, and a faster recovery.

And that was our patient’s priority. That’s what motivated her to make this decision.

We opted for high-profile ergonomic implants of 250 cc (MotivaErgonomix2, those that are the implants used with Preserved, I’ve already explained My opinion of Motiva prostheses in a previous article In case you want to know more. They’re top-notch.

Results:

• • Zero pain on the day of the procedure. After 3 days he asked us if he could attend a concert. He was doing very well. Unthinkable with conventional techniques.
  • Moderate, very natural improvement. In form and feel. Just what she was looking for.
  • Very satisfied. She has freed herself from her insecurities.

There should always be certain time frames to respect, but something that greatly impressed our patient is how quickly she was able to return to the gym

#2 Breast augmentation Preserved after 2 pregnancies

This is another very common question.

45-year-old patient. Normal weight. 165 cm. Comes to Cànons Clinics with the desire to regain the volume lost after 2 pregnancies “After breastfeeding, I feel empty.” She has no intention of having more children.

This is called involutional hypoplasia. Besides the loss of volume, the gland descends towards the lower pole and the upper pole flattens, giving the breast that “empty” or sagging appearance. This is common from age 35-40 onwards, after breastfeeding.

Although it is very normal, for many women it is not a pleasant change.

Going back to our patient, think about it. We’re talking about a mother of two children, caring for them, work, daily tasks… If you’re in a similar situation, you know you barely have any time. And you can’t afford to take a break for surgery.

That is why we indicate a breast augmentation with Preserve tecnique. For a fundamental benefit: In 24 hours you’ll be back to normal life. (with minimal care). As it is minimally invasive, the return to routine is almost immediate.

We also have outpatient operating room. Therefore, we operate within the clinic itself. Just as safe as a hospital, but more convenient and faster.

We used a 330cc high-profile breast implants (MotivaErgonomix2). She initially considered a larger size, but with Preserve the maximum volum available is 330 cc (4 cups). She didn’t mind, given the benefits of the procedure.

#3 Breast augmentation with Preserveé in a patient with fears

Similar case to the first one.

Young woman, 24 years old. Slim. 160 cm. She comes to our clinic because she wants more volume and an improvement of her breasts. They barely grew during puberty (developmental hypoplasia), which has created an insecurity that affects him especially in summer.

She tells us that she’s been thinking about it for months. breast augmentation surgery, but has not made an appointment for fear from the operating room and “what might happen”. Capsular contracture, rippling, implant rupture, loss of nipple sensation, poor healing…

As soon as we told him about Preservé, she felt more relaxed.

On the one hand, the muscle is not touched, nor are no cuts made in the tissues. We gently move them to insert the prosthesis into a space where it integrates naturally and stably. No nerves, blood vessels, or gland are damaged.

It’s true that it’s still a novel technique and we don’t have long-term safety data. And there’s never zero risk. But so far it’s demonstrating a very low complication rate. Less compared to conventional surgery.

On the other hand, an incision of only 2.5 cm is made in the inframammary fold. Therefore, almost imperceptible scar that is hidden with the lower fold of the breast.

All of this encouraged the patient to finally take the step.

We implant a high profile implants 330 cc (MotivaErgonomix2), the maximum that Preservé allows. She had a little more discomfort than usual, but she was very happy.

Results:

The patient presented with a natural separation of the breasts and a tendency towards skin redness. This did not affect her satisfaction.

#4 Breast augmentation with Preserve technique and mastopexy

One last very striking case.

43-year-old woman. Slightly overweight. 175 cm tall. She is consulting us because she wants to improve the shape of her breasts. Two pregnancies have caused slight ptosis (sagging), so she would not only like to increase, but also raise the breasts

This is a common question among those who request a breast lift with implants… Can it be done with Preserve?

The answer is yes and no.

On its own, it’s not a lifting technique, but in selected cases of mild ptosis, it can be combined with a breast lift. In severe ptosis, we usually require an approach that allows for greater correction.

As I mentioned, our patient had a slight fall. After evaluating her, we recommended a minimal periareolar mastopexy + augmentation with Preservation. Also, lipolaser with ArgoPlasma and Buttock lipofilling. She was looking for a 360 body remodeling.

We used a 235 cc implants with moderate profile (MotivaErgonomix2), with a spectacular result. Very satisfying for her, because she also had a very similar situation to that of the patient in case 2. Mother of two children…
