Are they highly visible or hidden? How do they evolve? Will they fade over time or remain permanent? All three <\/span><b>vary depending on the boarding route<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that is used. That is, where the incision is made to carry out the intervention.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As for the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canons.es\/aumento-de-pecho\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">breast augmentation<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, there are these possibilities:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Submammary approach<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The scar is in the fold under the breast (where it joins the chest), so it is hidden. Even without a bra depending on the shape of the breast.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Periareolar approach<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Around the areola, around the nipple where the skin changes color. It is very little noticeable.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Axillary approach<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The least common, in the armpit under the arm. If the patient rises her arm, it is usually barely noticeable and the advantage is that it is not associated with breast surgery.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each route has its pros and cons.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>In most cases they are 3.5 cm scars at the submammary level<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Newer techniques and materials allow for an even smaller size. Example of this is what we have at C\u00e0nons Clinics (I&#8217;ll tell you later).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On some occasions <\/span><b>an alternative is breast lipofilling<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which leaves tiny stitches because no prosthesis is used. Before and after 3 months of the intervention. The scar is completely hidden. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"margin-top: 20px; margin-bottom: 20px;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"breast-reduction-scars\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #3498db;\"><b>Breast reduction scars<\/b><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canons.es\/reduccion-de-pecho\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">breast reduction<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is more complex:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The most common is an inverted<\/span><b> T scar<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: periareolar, vertically downward from the areola and horizontally through the inframammary fold. The latter is more or less large, depending on the size of the breast prior to the operation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the reduction is moderate,<\/span><b> sometimes submammary can be avoided<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. If it is small, even the vertical one.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are times when a <\/span><b>liposuction<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: excess fat in the breast is removed to reduce its volume. The scars are minimal.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The most common is an inverted T, although the choice of procedure depends on the patient, her anatomy and her individual needs. The vertical line as you see is very finished.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"margin-top: 20px; margin-bottom: 20px;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"scars-in-mastopexy\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #3498db;\"><b>Scars in mastopexy<\/b><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Similar to reduction ones.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a mastopexy operation or <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canons.es\/elevacion-de-pecho\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">breast lift<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> they can remain <\/span><b>3 types of scars according to the technique<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Periareolar\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Periareolar + vertical.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Periareolar + vertical + horizontal in the inframammary fold (inverted T).\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Again, whether one or the other is used varies depending on the patient. What degree of fall does it have? What is her breast size? How is her skin laxity? What are your wishes and expectations? With or without implants? Etc.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"how-scars-from-breast-surgery-evolve\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #0b4f99;\"><b>How scars from breast surgery evolve<\/b><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<h3 style=\"margin-top: 20px; margin-bottom: 20px;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"how-long-does-it-take-for-them-to-disappear-are-they-very-visible\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #3498db;\"><b>How long does it take for them to disappear: are they very visible?<\/b><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The evolution is similar in augmentations, reductions or mastopexies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After breast surgery in <\/span><b>the first weeks the scar is redder and more swollen<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. It is just normal, the wound is still recent. Blood vessels are forming to irrigate the area and repair it as soon as possible.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As it heals it fades. After 6 months the improvement is noticeable and around <\/span><b>after a year it is usually almost visible<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If conditions are appropriate (surgical technique, care, good disposition&#8230;), the result is <\/span><b>a fine line of similar skin tone<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Very subtle even if it is an inverted T.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Evolution is unpredictable.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Each person has his own capacity to heal<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
